What are compostable resins made from?

A line of biodegradable and compostable resins made from PBAT, PLA, and corn starch polymers. Designed for use in existing standard industrial equipment, compostable resins offer the opportunity to completely replace traditional plastics.

These resins offer consumers the solution of collecting all disposable tableware and food contact plastic packaging in a single garbage can for organic recycling rather than sending it to a landfill or incineration. Once disposed of in a composting facility, the plastic products are broken down in the compost by microorganisms.
